there’s a kind of magic that never leaves you.
for me, it started with children’s books: they were my first love in art. even as I moved into video games and animation, that love for storytelling always stayed with me.

two years ago, I started working on Star Trek, an IP I never saw coming, but one I’m incredibly grateful to be part of.

I painted Hugh, our favorite Borg, many times, and he quickly became one of my favorite characters to illustrate.
and then… life surprised me again!

a few weeks after finishing my last piece of Hugh, Jonathan Del Arco reached out, along with the amazing Trisha DiFazio.
they told me they were writing a children’s book together and wanted me to illustrate it. from drawing him… to drawing with them!

and that’s how my art for Freddy The Alien was born: a story about feeling different, finding your place, and turning what makes you unique into something beautiful.
